Upgrading eWallet

Last Updated:

We’ve included instructions below on how to get the latest version of eWallet® on the different platforms. To see what the latest version of eWallet is for every platform, check out our Latest eWallet Upgrades and Version Numbers article.

eWallet for Android

You can see which version of eWallet you have on your Android device by starting eWallet and going to More (3 dots), then About.

To update, start the Play Store on your phone or tablet (Google Play), tap the “hamburger menu” (3 horizontal lines), select My apps & games, then update eWallet if necessary. Note that many people configure automatic updates, so you may not need to do anything to get the latest version.

eWallet for iPhone & iPad

You can see which version of eWallet you have on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch by starting eWallet and going to More (3 dots), then About eWallet.

To update, start the App Store app, tap Updates, then update eWallet if necessary. Note that many people configure automatic updates, so you may not need to do anything to get the latest version.

eWallet for macOS

You can see which version of eWallet you have on your Mac by starting eWallet and going to eWalletAbout eWallet in the menu.

To update, you have two main options:

  • If you purchased a license for eWallet for Mac from Apple’s Mac App Store (the only distributor eWallet has been available for purchase for the last several years), then start the App Store app on your Mac, click Updates, then update eWallet if necessary. Note that many people configure automatic updates, so you may not need to do anything to get the latest version.

  • If you purchased a license for eWallet for Mac directly from us (before there was a Mac App Store), you can get the latest version from our site — note, you should not download that version if you purchased from the Mac App Store, as it does not notify you of updates.

eWallet for Windows

You can see which version of eWallet you have on your Windows PC by clicking on the little i (information icon) in the upper right corner of the eWallet window.

To update, you have two main options:

  • Once you’ve pressed the information icon as directed above, you should see a Check for Updates button; press that, and eWallet should download the latest version for you. Note that many people configure checking for automatic updates, so you may have already been prompted to download the latest version.

  • If you don’t see a Check for Updates button, or simply want to use download the update directly, you can get the latest version from our site.
