FAQ: How do I keep the Import Wizard from putting card fields into the Notes of a card?

eWallet’s import wizard attempts to map fields in whatever program you were using, to fields in eWallet cards. If a field exists in the program you are importing from, but doesn’t exist in an eWallet card. eWallet puts that field’s contents into the notes for that card.

If you import a card into a General Purpose card, eWallet will simply take each field and put it into a field in the general purpose card, unless there are too many to fit. To do this, simply choose “Manual” when asked how you want to import, and choose the General Purpose card for each imported card that gives you trouble.
