FAQ: Why is Copy and Paste not working with eWallet?

We’ve had reports from users that Webroot SecureAnywhere may sometimes disable copy/paste functionality for database applications (like eWallet).

You can add eWallet to the list of programs overlooked by Webroot’s Identity Shield feature:

  1. Go to Webroot > Identity Protection Settings tab.
  2. Select “GEAR” on the Right.
  3. Now select Application Protection.
  4. Here, find the “ewallet.exe” program in list.
  5. Change the setting from Deny to Protect.

Changing the setting to Protect allows Copy and Paste to work, but still protects the eWallet app data from virus intrusion.
