Purchasing an app as a gift

Last Updated:

Looking to give a license to eWallet® or ListPro® as a gift to someone? No problem – we’ve outlined how to do that on the different platforms below.

Android

You can send gifts of Google Play credit through the Google Play Store app for eWallet:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app Play Store
  2. Tap Menu and then “Send gift”
  3. Pick your gift (amount) and follow the onscreen instructions to buy and send your gift (Google Play does this by amount rather than by product)

For more info, see Send Google Play gifts by email.

iPhone & iPad

eWallet

Apple doesn’t provide a direct way to purchase a gift for apps like eWallet that use in-app purchases. Instead, you’d purchase a Gift Card from Apple so your recipient can use that to make the in-app purchase for eWallet.

For more info, see Gift apps, media, and more from Apple.

To purchase a gift card from Apple, see Apple Gift Card.

ListPro

You can gift ListPro for iPhone by using the on-device App Store:

  1. Tap the ListPro link to find it in the store
  2. Tap the Share icon in the upper right corner
  3. Tap Gift
  4. Enter the email address of the person you want to send the gift to

For more info, see Gift apps, media, and more from Apple.

macOS

You can send gifts as an amount through the Music App / iTunes for eWallet for macOS:

  1. Open the Music app on the Mac
  2. Select iTunes Store
  3. Look for “Apple Gift Card”
