FAQ: Why doesn't eWallet open my default browser on my desktop?
Last Updated:
eWallet’s AutoPass feature - enabled by default - supports Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome.
eWallet opens the default browser for your system. If you use a web browser that isn’t supported, you will need to turn off AutoPass so eWallet will open it. Click the menu button to the left of the Home tab, then click Options, then Application, then choose “Disable AutoPass”.
To change the default browser –
Windows PC:
- In the Windows Search box, type: default browser and press Enter.
- When the choice for Windows Default browser pops up, choose Chrome.
- Now eWallet should open Chrome when you click a URL in a card in eWallet.
macOS:
- Click on the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
- Choose the General tab.
- Just over half way down, there’s a menu next to “Default web browser.”
- Click on it and choose the browser you want to set as the default.
