eWallet cannot confirm your application license... message on Android devices
If you haven’t connected your Android device to the Internet in a while, you may see a message like the following:
eWallet cannot confirm your application license. Please purchase a license and go online for eWallet to verify it.
This message can happen because the on-device store app (Google Play or Amazon’s store app) hasn’t been able to connect for a while and confirm the license with their online servers.
To resolve this:
- Close eWallet on the Android device
- Open the Google Play Store app (or Amazon App Store app) on your Android phone or tablet, and confirm you are logged in with the email address you used when you purchased a license to “eWallet for Android” – you may want to connect via Wi-Fi to avoid cellular charges for Internet access
- Leave your device connected for about 10 minutes to allow the store app to update its information, then close the Store app, start eWallet on your device (NOT through the Store), and eWallet should open with no messages
** You DO NOT have to have eWallet connected to the Store to be able to use it after that. You just needed to let the Store validate the eWallet license on your Android device. **
