ERROR: eWallet 7 sometimes freezes every few seconds or performs very slowly
Some users may experience a problem where eWallet 7 uses large amounts of memory or CPU time, which will result in the program performing very slowly or freezing up every few seconds.
This is almost always the result of a software conflict with the current version of UPEK’s Protection Suite software for use with many biometric fingerprint readers.
UPEK has acknowledged the software conflict and will be fixing it in future versions of their software. UPEK has offered the following workaround:
- Go to C:\\Program Files\\Protector Suite and rename “PbDnSup.dll” to “PbDnSup.backup”
- Reboot your computer
- Windows (desktop)
