FAQ: Where do I start troubleshooting synchronization?
- If you believe that your file is not synchronizing at all, open eWallet and click on your wallet's name at the top of the card list. The wallet information screen will show whether your wallet is set up to sync, and if so, what locations it syncs to.
- To set up a wallet to sync, go to the Home tab, then click Setup in the Synchronize group.
- Most errors that can occur during the sync process will be written into the sync log, which you can access by going to Home -> View Log , or by clicking on the sync status in the lower right part of the eWallet window.
- The most common sync error is that your wallet password on the desktop does not match the wallet password on whatever location you are syncing to. eWallet matches up wallet files by their name and password, so make sure the wallet file with your data in it has the same name and password on both sides.
