eWallet's synchronization process is designed to never need your wallet password. This means that your desktop wallet file - and the wallet on whatever device or location you are syncing with - must have the same password.

(FlexWallet allowed wallet files to have separate passwords, but the passwords had to be entered during the synchronization process.)
